Use your 10k pace chart
Choose a finish time in the chart to compare the required pace. Then enter your exact goal above for a full split plan over 10 kilometers. Changing between miles and kilometers keeps the distance equivalent.
An even split assigns the same time to each equal distance. In the negative-split option, the first half of the distance uses 51% of your total time and the second half uses 49%. The positive-split option reverses those percentages.
For a four-hour marathon, a 51/49 plan puts the halfway point at 2:02:24 and the second half at 1:57:36. These are comparison scenarios you select, not a recommendation for a particular course.

Why is the last split shorter?
A marathon is 42.195 km, not 42 km. The table includes the remaining distance, so the final row reaches the exact finish rather than dropping the partial kilometer or mile.
Why can rounded split times differ by a second?
Each displayed split is rounded independently. Calculations retain precision until display, and the cumulative finish is rounded from the full total. Adding rounded rows can differ slightly.
