Speed and pace, in both directions.
Speed says how far you travel in an hour. Pace says how much time you need per mile or kilometer. At 6 mph, each mile takes exactly 10 minutes. At 12 km/h, each kilometer takes exactly 5 minutes.
This conversion uses the belt speed you enter. It does not estimate outdoor effort, account for incline, or compensate for a treadmill that reports an inaccurate speed.

Does incline change the conversion?
Incline does not change the arithmetic relationship between the entered belt speed and pace. It can change the experience of the workout, which this calculator does not model.
Are mph and km/h interchangeable?
No. One mile is exactly 1.609344 kilometers. Check the unit shown on your treadmill before entering a speed.
