Run-walk pace calculator
Combine running and walking intervals to estimate your finish time. The final partial interval is included in the calculation.

Full-cycle average: 10:00/mi. Finish time includes a partial final interval when needed.
Account for the walk, and the last interval.
A run-walk cycle combines the distance covered in both phases. The calculator adds those distances, then divides total cycle time by cycle distance. Averaging the two pace numbers directly would give the wrong answer.
The finish estimate repeats your run interval first and your walk interval second. If the finish falls in the middle of either phase, it includes only the required part of that last interval. It assumes constant speeds and no extra stops.

Why can cycle pace differ from finish-time pace?
Your final cycle may be incomplete. Finishing partway through a running phase can change the overall average slightly compared with repeating full cycles.
Can I use this as a training prescription?
The tool models the numbers you supply. It does not choose an appropriate run-walk ratio or evaluate your readiness for a distance.
